The event is part of a joint program of the Council of Europe, the European Commission and the Ministry of Regional Development of Russia.
Representatives of the Council of Europe announced the competition of projects aimed at developing the culture of national minorities in Russia. It will be implemented in three pilot regions: Mordovia, Dagestan and in the Altai region. The project allocated 2 million 750 thousand euros for the development of language and culture of national minorities.
